Community
Partners...
The
Southeast Regional Key’s primary role is to work with existing
organizations and create a comprehensive early childhood system.
Our work with our Community Partners is vital to our success.
In
December of 2006, the Southeast Regional Key hosted a Partner’s
Retreat day. This event was a beginning conversation about how
each of our organizations could improve communications and work
more effectively together (see Partners Retreat PowerPoint). At
the close of the Partners Retreat Day, participating organizations
requested that we hold annual retreats for line staff and agency
administrators to continue to work on strengthening our relationships.
Additionally,
these organizations requested that two small working groups be
convened to discuss how organizations could work more effectively
together and to develop cross system training opportunities. These
two groups are currently meeting.
The
next Partners Retreat is scheduled for December 2008. Be watching
