This
section is intended to help parents and caregivers with answers
to common questions about children’s health and development.
Guidelines
for submitting questions:
- Contact
your physician if you are concerned about specific symptoms
your child is experiencing, rather than pose those questions
online. Our nurses cannot assess your child without speaking
directly to you, and we may not be responding until a day or
two later.
- Ask
us questions on everyday issues and concerns you and other parents
are talking about.
- Keep
your question brief and to the point.
Maryellen,
the public health nurse, who is a registered nurse and child care
health consultant will respond to you within 48 hours of our next
business day. Some questions and answers may be posted to our
web site after being reviewed and screened for appropriateness
of content. Posted Q&A’s will contain no sender name or e-mail
addresses.
